Bug in Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0

All Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 users please read this article.
Due to users installing IE4 final without uninstalling IE4 beta, an error is caused when clicking a link to open a Pop-Up Window.
AS some sites use Pop-Up Windows throughout their sites I would like to inform users of this problem.

 Microsoft Internet Explorer 4 has errors with this line: popupWin = window.open("file.html", "remote");

Another weird twist to this case is that it doesn't always happen.
Infact, many people report that the browser crashes after recieving the error "No such interface supported".
The only thing that can associated with this error with is miscommunication between the two versions of the browser.

The best solution is to uninstall the browser and reinstall just IE4 final.
This will solve the problem and solve other undiscovered problems.
It is realized that this is an annoying solution and that it takes some time, but it could save time in the long run.

Microsoft had another solution for the problem.
This solution was originally created for a problem related to window.open(),
but Microsoft has assured that this would work for the popupWin = window.open("file.html", "remote"); bug.

    # Click the Start Button on the Windows Toolbar, then Click Run.

    # In the Open Box, Type regsvr32 actxprxy.dll.
    # Click OK. You should see the following in a message box:
                    DllRegisterServer in actxprxy.dll succeeded.

    # Click OK.

    # Click the Start Button on the Windows ToolBar, then Click Run.
    # In the Open Box, type regsvr32 shdocvw.dll.

    # Click OK. You should see the following in a Message Box:
                    DllRegisterServer in shdocvw.dll succeeded.

    # Click OK.

    # Shut Down & ReStart Windows.

That should fix  the IE4 Bugs. I urge all visitors to do this inorder to enjoy HIGHLANDER's WEB SITE.
This is NOT an error on the site, but a bug in the IE4 browser. Don't install the final release until you've uninstalled the beta version!
